2.  Good-luck to the baseball team as they travel to Wakefield/Marenisco today. Dismissal time is 12:00. Game times are 4:00 & 6:00.

4.  The Calumet Band Parents Pancake Breakfast & Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017

From 8:00am-12:30pmin the Multi-purpose room. Tickets cost $5.00 and are available at the door. 


5.  The SADD Chapter “Give Drugs the Boot”, Boot Hockey Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at Finlandia University in front of Finlandia Hall. See Mrs. Rosemurgy in the art room if interested.


6.  The Miscowaubik Club is inviting Calumet Prom attendees to a special prom dinner. The menu is posted outside of the principal’s office. The cost is $22.00 per person and this price would be inclusive of gratuity and tax.  Please call 337-0603 to make your reservation. You must make your reservation by April 28th.


7.  There is a need for camp counselors for cognitively impaired campers, at Camp Nesbit, from June 11th-16th. This is a paid position. Applications can be picked up in the principal’s office. You must be at least 17 years of age to apply. If you have questions, you can contact Kristin Zubiena at the CCISD at 482-7260. The deadline to apply is May 5th.


8.  Tickets for May 6th's prom are now on sale in the principal's office for $25. This year's theme is Carnival.


9.  The CHS drama club will present an adaptation of George Orwell’s “1984” on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm at the Calumet Theatre. Ticket prices are $5 for students and seniors, $8 for adults, and children under 5 are free. Though the year 1984 may have passed already, the message and warning Orwell gives in this story is more relevant than ever.


10.  The Booster Club is celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the Spring Fling on Saturday, April 29th.  Do you need blue? Well, we have it for you at the Kings’ Corner.  There are five different shirts to choose from.  Hurry while supplies last. The Kings’ Corner is open at lunch with extended hours from 6-8 PM Monday through Thursday!


11.  Students enrolled in Driver’s Ed Segment 1 are reminded you have class on Saturday from 8:00-10:00 a.m. You must enter the building from the entrance facing the park service parking lot.


12.  Any seniors that would still be interested in ordering senior hoodies, sweatshirts or t-shirts can pick up an order form in the office. The form needs to be returned to the office with payment by Tuesday, April 25th.
