Gipp graduated from Blodgett Memorial Hospital’s nursing program in 1924 and shortly thereafter began working for Calumet Public Hospital, now ASPIRUS Keweenaw. Her 33 year tenure at the hospital was characterized by high personal and professional standards for herself and those with whom she worked.
