President of Hughes Helicopter, Inc.
A graduate of Michigan Tech in 1937, where he also received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in 1968. Worked for Lockheed Aircraft in their famous “Skunk Works” with engineering genius Kelly Johnson. Helped design and develop the Army’s Cheyenne and Apache Helicopter, the latter while president of Hughes Helicopters. Recipient of the Robert J. Collier Award, American Aviations highest honor.
