He was a High School Honor graduate, ROTC Battalion Commander, and George Gipp Award winner. Graduated from MTU in 1958. Joined the accounting firm of Price-Waterhouse-Coopers and promoted to full partner in 1969. He served on State and National Boards that set CPA standards and practices.
