Adams graduated from Michigan Tech in 1962 with a degree in Applied Physics. He went on to earn his Masters and PhD. at Purdue University. He serves as Professor and Director of Management Information Systems Research Center, Carlson School, University of Minnesota, and is Chairman of the Faculty Senate Consultative Committee.
