Arntsen is a 1964 graduate of Michigan Tech. He has pursed a successful career in the lumbering industry, with large land holdings in Keweenaw County and two companies that he has formed; A&M Marketing Corporation and Birds Eye Creations. He is a recipient of Michigan Tech’s Outstanding Alumnus Award. He is generous supporter of many community organizations including The All-Sports Booster Club, and the Public Schools of Calumet-Laurium-Keweenaw.
