Dr. Roy Drier

Local Author and MTU Professor
After graduation, Dr. Drier attended Northern State Teachers College (NMU) and taught in a country school at Sedar Bay. He was a veteran and served in both WWI and WWII. He earned his bachelors, masters and doctorate degree from Michigan Tech, and went on to establish an outstanding teaching career at the university. In his retirement, he published several books of local interest and donated the profits to local charitable organizations.
