Special Agent in the FBI
Larry was one of Calumet High School's outstanding athletes. He was selected captain of both the football and basketball teams, and selected All-U.P. and All-State in Football, and All-Conference in Basketball. He enrolled at Notre Dame and played football there in 1934, '35, and '36. He graduated with honors and was selected All-American during his senior year. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. In 1947, he entered service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he rose to the rank of special agent, serving in the Washington, D.C. office.
