Forty-one years of legal practice. Deputy attorney general for the State of Washington. Thirty-five years relating to nuclear waste disposal. Served as chair of the National Association of Attorneys' Genreal Ad Hoc Committee on Civil Rights Legislation. An early supporter of the Keweenaw National Historical Park, helping to procure funding in Congress.
