Businessman and Community Leader
Sutinen graduated from Michigan Tech in 1939 where he played varsity basketball and ran on their track team. After graduating, he joined his father in operating The Family Shoe Store, a business that was in existence for over 60 years. He served on the C-L-K Board of Education for 15 years. He was a founding member of the All-Sports Booster Club and for over 50 years was an active member of our Community.
