Phillip H. Trezise

Assistant U.S. Secretary of State
Trezise compiled a distinguished career as an Economist and Diplomat. He was a 1936 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan. He served in WWII in the OSS. Under Presidents Nixon and Johnson, he served in many sensitive and important international trade positions. He was named Assistant US Secretary of State by President Nixon. After retirement from government service he was named a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution.
