CHS Students Excel at MTU BioAthlon

Calumet High School students Jaden Ely, Carter Worm, Sidney Cummings, and Jenna Yohe placed first in the BioAthlon hosted at Michigan Technological University. The team competed in four categories: Medical Lab Science with gram staining bacteria and classification; Ecology with evolution; biological processes and cell structures; Blood typing with forensic analysis of blood samples; and frog dissection with organ identification and functions. The team is coached by CHS Biology instructor, Holly Wright.
