MiMTSS Awards for CLK Elementary & WMS
The implementation of an Multi Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a priority of the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). In alignment with this priority, the MDE and MiMTSS TA Center have developed a process for identifying and recognizing ISDs, districts, and schools that are demonstrating strong outcomes and/or making progress related to meeting the needs of each and every learner through a multi-tiered framework.
This year both CLK Elementary and Washington Middle School were recognized for their dedicated efforts in improving student literacy and behavior. The MiMTSS Recognition process provides one way to shine a positive light on work happening in these two schools implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework to meet the needs of all learners. MTSS is one way in which CLK Schools works to personalize the learning experience for our students, and provide a system that allows our students the opportunity to grow everyday.
