A huge shout out and thank you to our S.A.D.D. organization - including Abraham, Maisy, Jenna and Mrs. Rosemurgy (their advisor). They presented to Mrs. Antilla's 8th grade Health encore class and discussed super important issues relating to high school: how to be successful in high school, have less stress, and avoid peer pressure. And they are coming back for all Mrs. Antilla's 8th Grade Health Encore Classes!
Thank you to the CHS staff and students for their generous donations to support the Harmala family. We raised $500 yesterday. If you would like to contribute donations can still be made in either office.
The Student Senate invites you to celebrate Halloween by dressing up in your costume on Monday! Students who dress up are eligible to guess the number of candies in a jar in the 2nd floor office. The student that guesses the closest will win a cash prize! There will also be a raffle for the candy jar. Please see the announcement on Schoology for details on when and where to make your guess.
Saturday School will be held this Saturday, October 29th from 8:00 - Noon in the public library. Stop by the downstairs office if you need help figuring out if you need make-up time this marking period.
There will be a boys basketball open gym tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the main gym.
