Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victory yesterday, they head to the Regional Finals in Manistique tomorrow to take on Elk Rapids!


Congratulations to the Valorent team Fuzzy Dice on beating Marshall Academy last night in eSports, in house team Canada beat CHS team 2.


Boys Basketball sign-up is in the downstairs office. Tryouts will be held on November 21 and 22 from 3:45 - 5:45 in the main gym. You must have physical and consent forms on file in order to try out.


Girls basketball practice starts Monday, November 14. Anyone interested needs to stop by the first floor office to sign up. Try out cards will be available for pick up by the beginning of 7th hour on Monday.Try outs will begin once Volleyball season concludes.


Anyone interested in joining cheer for the winter season is welcome. Winter Cheer will begin on Monday, Nov. 14 at 3:45 in the Multi. You must have a current physical on file and pick up a try out card in order to participate. Returning cheerleaders do not need a new try out card. Any questions, see Mrs. La Cross.


Interested in joining the bowling team? Come to the meeting at Miller's: Thursday at 6 pm.


Throwback Thursday! Revisit your childhood with a brand new Smencil, sold outside the cafeteria on Thursday, November 10. Each scented pencil is one dollar, and proceeds benefit the elementary library and CLK Elementary readers. We hope to see you there!


The Annual Poetry Out Loud Competition will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15th during 5th hour. The competition is open to all high school students and the school winner advances on to the state finals held in Lansing. Please see Mrs. Antilla for information or visit poetryoutloud.org.


Chicago Art Trip students: Popcorn orders and money are due today!


There will be a SADD Chapter meeting today at noon in the art room.


CHS Band Students are collecting Tadych Receipts. The cans can be found in the Band Hall, Highschool Office (Not sure which one they brought it to), and Middle School Office.
