The 2024 CHS Poetry Out Loud Competition champion is Ellie! She will travel to Lansing in March to compete in the state competition! 2nd place is Lorelei and 3rd place is Grace. Thank you to all that participated and attended.
Congratulations to Ozzie for placing 3rd at the District Level of the Voice of Democracy Essay Contest.
There will be a prom committee meeting after school on Wednesday.
The NHS Winter blood drive will be held on Wednesday from 11-2 in the commons. 16-year-olds can donate with a permission form. Students can earn a red cord to wear for graduation by donating 5 units of blood before the end of their senior year. Sign up for the blood drive, or get permission forms in the 2nd floor office.
There is a mandatory Science Olympiad meeting on Wednesday before practice in Mr. Asialas room 209 in the WMS. Practice will be Monday-Thursday after school until 5:00 and Saturday from 9:00-noon. Bring your chromebook to practice. Check Schoology for updates and group calendar for details.
There will be a meeting today for ALL seniors in the Study Hall at 10:40 to discuss the Senior Project. Requirements and deadlines will be discussed.
