Here are the results from sporting events over the weekend:
-Varsity Hockey defeated Marquette’
-JV Hockey fell to Marquette’
-Girls Varsity Basketball defeated Escanaba🏀
-Girls JV Basketball fell to Escanada🏀
-In Gymnastics Brooklyn Tatman placed 2nd in bars, beam, floor and all around and first place in vault.

Congratulations to the JROTC cadets who competed and attended the Upper Midwest JROTC Competition. The Calumet North Star Battalion won second place for the overall competition, a first for our cadets! The PT team won 1st place, the Rifle team placed 2nd, The Color Guard team and the Knowledge bowl teams placed 3rd overall. The Drill team also placed 4th. Two Calumet cadets also finished in the top 10 in the Knockout drill event that started with over 250 cadets in the individual drill contest.
Auditions for the CHS drama club production of “The Play That Goes Wrong” will be held tomorrow from 3:30-7:00 pm. Sign up for an audition slot or to be on crew in the second floor office.
The Forensics team will be selling Dew Messages during both lunches. They are $1 and will be delivered to 7th hour classes on Thursday, Feb 13.
There will be no Quiz Bowl practice tomorrow.
There will be no detention after school on Thursday, it will be offered Friday at noon.
In honor of Snowcoming, the Pep Club will be sponsoring a half-court shot contest at the basketball game tonight. Participants must be in grades 9-12. The first student to make the shot gets a gift card.
Tomorrow's dress up day is Twin Tuesday!
