Here are results from sporting events yesterday:
-Boys & Girls Golf both placed first yesterday in Calumet for the Ryder Cup
-Varsity Softball fell to Lake Linden and the JV won
-JV Baseball defeated Houghton
-Varsity Baseball split with Westwood
-In track yesterday at the WestPAC meet, the Girls placed 3rd & the Boys placed 6th
The following placed individually: Ava 2nd place 100 meters, Bailey, Annika, Kyla, Ava 2nd place 4x200, Bailey, Annika, Bethany, Kyla 3rd place 4x400, Bailey, Lacie, Rita, Bethany 2nd place 4x800, High Jump Annika tied for second and Lewis tied for 3rd, Keith 3rd place Pole Vault, Kyla 3rd place Long Jump
We are in need of student volunteers for our track meets next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday! The events that need help are Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, High Jump & Pole Vault. If you are interested, please see Mr. Dwyer!
There is a signup sheet in Cara’s office for athletes interested in a summer open hockey skate at Tech. The cost is yet to be determined, depending on the number of participants. The time and dates are as follows: Mondays from 5:00-6:00, June 8, 15, 22, July 6, 13, 20, 27.
Student Senate Delegate & Class Officer Applications are now open for next school year! The Google form application is on Schoology and due next Wednesday. Voting will take place on June 1.
