Margaret Jane Bryant-Wake

Mrs. Wake was Salutatorian of her class, and was an accomplished musician, active in girl scouting, tennis and hockey while in High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1939, and in 1962 was named the Top Master's Degree recipient. She earned her PhD in psychology from Wayne State in 1966, and became administrator of the Wake Psychology Clinic in Royal Oak. She was an advisor to the Oakland County Courts in child custody cases, and served on the Royal Oak School Board for ten years, including a term as president.
